Dr. Shivani Chmura

Dr. Chmura takes a holistic approach to treating her patients, one that balances compassion with evidence-based outcomes to achieve wellbeing.

She is trained in a variety of therapies, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Supportive Psychotherapy.

She has extensive experience with medication management for mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, and many others.

Dr. Chmura is Board Certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. She received her medical degree in 2007 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She did her residency in General Adult Psychiatry at Stanford University. After her residency, she was named a Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco.

Currently, she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member in the Stanford Hospital Department of Psychiatry.
